When they can't run, you can't hide

Written by Bundle Team Member, Mother of two very, very energetic children

All of a sudden it hits...this is the new norm. Well, at least for now as we are on COVID-19 lockdown. As a parent, I'm grateful for all the precautions, but as I look at my kids I think...how am I going to do it all? I still have to work full-time from home and am now required to school my kids while also parenting them and let’s not forget that I still need to cook, clean and do all the other necessary things around the house. Some days I just don't know how much more I can take and it's only week two. I know I am not alone and see others on Facebook and Insta who are in similar situations. But wow, this is going to be a long haul!

While I’ve really appreciated our schools and teachers who are all doing their best under the current circumstances to provide “distance learning”, the days are VERY, VERY long...what day is it again today? My kids also really miss their friends and teachers. They are social beings that love to interact with others, and now they have me at home with my revolving hats and dwindling bandwidth. I know they need and deserve so much more.

With all the generous online learning options (check these great resources out if you haven't), I think I have a good sense of what I need to do to help my kids keep learning and growing. But where I've struggled most is coming up with interactive hands-on learning that doesn't take me a ton of time to prepare in advance. I just don't have the mental capacity at the end of the day to research, plan, prep...ugh!

So, I got my team together and we came up with Bundle Breaks. That's right. We engage and interact with your kids in 1 on 1, science, technology, engineering, arts, culture, math, and wellness learning experiences virtually, so you can get s**t done. We take care of it all. No prep on your part, no time wasted finding that perfect activity...we got you. We promise your children will love it and so will you. Because I know from experience that we all need a break sometimes.
