LEARNING OBJECTIVE

In this care learning experience, your child will explore the history of playdough, learn fun facts, make their own play dough and do fun crafts with it.  

Play Dough: The materials needed 

• Bowl 

• Spatula/spoon 

• Measuring cups and spoons 

• 1-2 cups of flour 

• 1/4 cup of salt 

• 1/2 - 1 cup of water warm water 

• 3 tablespoons of lemon or lime juice 

• 1 tablespoon of baby/vegetable/canola/coconut oil 

• Optional: 1 teaspoon Crème of Tartar 

• Optional: Essential oils or cinnamon spice for scent 

• Optional: Food coloring 

Spaghetti Play Dough Tower: The additional materials needed: 

• Dry Spaghetti noodles 

• Cheerios 

• Penne pasta 

• Markers 

Porcupine Play Dough Animal: The additional materials needed: 

• Toothpicks

Robot Play Dough Man: The additional materials needed: 

• Pipe cleaners, paper clips, or wire twist ties 

• Beads or other decorations
